    The NEW Starbucks Rewards is a Spend-Based Loyalty Program. You now earn Stars on everything you purchase at any Starbucks Malaysia store with your Starbucks Card or Mobile App.
  • How do I join as member for the NEW Starbucks Rewards?
    All you need to do is register your Starbucks Card via our website at card.sbux.com.my or mobile app and you will be automatically enrolled as a Starbucks Rewards member. It's that simple!
  • Is there any fee to join the NEW Starbucks Rewards?
    No joining fee or usage fee is required.
  • Why do I need to register my Starbucks Card?
    By registering your Starbucks Card, you will enjoy more benefits, such as birthday treats, special event invitations, exclusive deals, and more. You can also ensure that your Starbucks Card balance will be protected. Let us treat you like a STAR!
  • What if my Starbucks Card is not registered?
    A non-registered Starbucks Card can still be used to make purchases and earn Stars. However, a non-registered Starbucks Card is restricted from any rewards redemption. So, be sure to register your Starbucks Card!
  • Can I still use my existing Starbucks Card for the NEW Starbucks Rewards?
    Yes, you can still use your existing Starbucks Card to make purchases and earn Stars with the NEW Starbucks Rewards.
  • How many Starbucks Card can I register for a Starbucks Rewards account?
    You may register up to maximum fifty (50) cards for one (1) Starbucks Rewards account.
  • How can I check my Starbucks Card balance?
    You can check your Starbucks Card balance at any Starbucks Malaysia store, via our website or mobile app. Your Starbucks Card balance will be stated on the receipt as well.
  • How can I update my Starbucks Rewards account particulars?
    You can update your Starbucks Rewards account particulars via our website or mobile app.
  • I've forgotten my login password, how do I retrieve my password?
    You can retrieve your password by resetting your password via our website or mobile app.
  • Can i re-register my Starbucks Card to another Starbucks Rewards account?
    No, a Starbucks Card can only be registered once. A Starbucks Card which is already associated with a Starbucks Rewards account can't be re-registered to another Starbucks Rewards account.
  • Can I return a Starbucks Card and request for a refund?
    No, a Starbucks Card purchased or received as a gift is non-refundable or exchangeable for cash.
  • Will my Starbucks Card expire?
    Yes, your Starbucks Card will expire should there be no purchases made within three (3) years from your last purchase date. Any remaining balance, Stars and rewards will be forfeited and reactivation is not allowed.
  • What special offers do Starbucks Rewards members receive?
    Starbucks Rewards offers are often specific to our members' preferences so you may see offers with details that are tailored just for you.
  • Do you offer e-Gift Cards?

  • What are Stars?
    Stars are another term for "points". You can collect starts by making purchases at any Starbucks stores in Malaysia with your Starbucks Card or Mobile App.
  • How do I earn Stars (points)?
    For every RM1 spent (excluding Tax) with your Starbucks Card earns you 1 Star. Please note that there will be difference of +-0.02 Stars due to rounding.
    Example:
    - Subtotal = RM14.50
    - Tax = RM0.87
    - Rounding = -RM0.02
    - Total bill = RM15.35 (including Tax)
    - Amount paid with Starbucks Card = RM15.35
    - Total Stars earned = 14.48

  • Can I earn Stars with other payment methods?
    No, you can only earn Stars from purchases made with a Starbucks Card or Mobile App.
  • What can i do with my earned Stars?
    Stars earned in your Starbucks Rewards account will be converted into a reward, which would be redeemable for a FREE item from any Starbucks Malaysia store.
  • Can I transfer my Stars to another Starbucks Card?
    No, Stars are non-transferable to another registered Starbucks Card account.
  • Will my Stars expire?
    No, progressing Stars will never expire as long as your Starbucks Rewards account is active.
  • How can I track my Stars earning?
    You can track your Stars earning from any Starbucks Malaysia store, via our website or mobile app.
  • My Stars is not captured after 24 hours, what should I do?
    You may contact our Starbucks Malaysia Careline at 1300 80 8989 for further assistance.
  • Can I exchange my Stars earned for cash?
    No, Stars earned are not exchangeable for cash.
  • Can I still earn Stars if the system is offline?
    Yes, you can still earn Stars if the system is offline. You can settle your bill with any other payment method and ensure that your Starbucks Card is swiped by our Barista at the time of payment.
  • What are Bonus Stars / Star Dash, and how do I earn them?
    As a registered member, you may have the opportunity to earn Bonus Stars, usually through member-exclusive offers. These Stars are given out in addition to the Stars you earn while spending. There is also the Star Dash campaigns for both member and non-members to earn additional Stars for every RM1 they spend.
  • I have a reward, what can I redeem?
    Currently, our redemptions are for the following items:
    - A Grande-sized handcrafted beverage (except Reserve)
    OR
    - A food item (check our in-store daily offering)

  • How do I redeem my reward?
    You may walk in to any Starbucks Malaysia store and inform our Barista that you would like to redeem your reward. You will be asked to present your Starbucks Card or Mobile App for record purpose, you may thereafter claim your reward.
  • Can I transfer my rewards to another Starbucks Card?
    No, rewards are non-transferable to another registered Starbucks Card account at this point of time.
  • Will my reward expire?
    Yes, every reward has validity of 30 days from date of issue. We strongly encourage you to track your rewards status from time to time via our website or mobile app.
  • What if I have an expired reward, can it be reinstated?
    No, expired rewards will be forfeited and will not be reinstated.

    You can activate a Starbucks Card starting from RM30.

    A Starbucks Card can be activated with a maximum of RM500 only.

    A complimentary slice of cake with purchase of a handcrafted beverage during your birthday month, the reward will be valid for 30 days from date of purchase.

    No, you can't purchase (activate) a Starbucks Card with another Starbucks Card.
  • How do I reload my Starbucks Card?
    A Starbucks Card can be reloaded at any Starbucks Malaysia stores, via our website or mobile app.
  • How can I reload my Starbucks Card via the website or mobile app?
    Applicable only for registered members - Sign in to website or mobile app, select "Reload" and follow the steps provided.
  • What is the minimum reload amount for a Starbucks Card?
    The minimum reload amount into a Starbucks Card is RM10.
  • What is the maximum reload amount for a Starbucks Card?
    A Starbucks Card can hold a maximum balance of RM500 at any one time, so the maximum reload amount is within the maximum balance of your current card balance.
  • Can I reload a Starbucks Card with another Starbucks Card?
    No, you can't reload a Starbucks Card with another Starbucks Card.
  • How can I check my reload history?
    You can check your reload history via our website or mobile app.
  • Can I pay using multiple Starbucks Cards for one (1) transaction?
    Yes, you can pay using up to three (3) Starbucks Cards. Stars will only be captured on the Starbucks Card with highest amount spent.
    Example:
    Your total bill is RM35 (including Tax of RM2.10)
    - Starbucks Card A paid with RM10
    - Starbucks Card B is paid with RM12
    - Starbucks Card C is paid with RM13
    Stars will be accumulated in Starbucks Card C i.e. approximately 33 Stars earned excluding tax.

  • Can I refund my purchase?
    Yes. Refund of purchases can only be done within the same day and must be at the same Starbucks Malaysia store where the purchase was made. Refunds are subject to our in-store return & exchange policy, here: www.sbux.me/ReturnPolicy
  • What happens to my earned Stars after refunding my purchase?
    Earned Stars will be reversed from your Starbucks Card upon successful refunds.
  • How can i check my purchase history?
    You can check your purchase history via our website of mobile app
  • Can I make partial payment with my Starbucks Card?
    Yes, you can split payment on a transaction using your Starbucks Card and any other payment method that is accepted in our store. However, you will only earn Stars based on the amount spent with your Starbucks Card or Mobile App.
  • What should I do if my Starbucks Card is lost or stolen?
    Sign in to our website or mobile app immediately to deactivate your Starbucks Card. Thereafter, you have 30 days to transfer any remaining balance from your lost Starbucks Card to another Starbucks Card.
  • Can I transfer my balance to another Starbucks Card?
    Yes, you can only transfer your balance to another Starbucks Card registered within the same account.
  • What if I don't have another Starbucks Card in my account?
    You may purchase (activate) a new Starbucks Card from any Starbucks Malaysia store and register the newly purchased (activated) Starbucks Card into your account. Thereafter, you may perform the balance transfer.
  • What if I do not manage to transfer my card balance within the 30 days given?
    The deactivated Starbucks Card will be permanently disabled and remaining balance will be forfeited.
  • What are the advantages of downloading Starbucks Mobile App?
    With the Starbucks Mobile App, you will be able to:
    - Receive new updates
    - Receive exclusive offers
    - Locate the nearest store
    - Track Stars earning progress
    - Check rewards status

Earning Stars

You must pay with your registered Starbucks card (or your registered Card in the mobile app) in order to earn Stars. Stars cannot be earned on purchases of Starbucks Cards or Starbucks Card reloads.
